Hi,

Very cool utility !!!

I didn't see any mention of https in the documentation or examples.

Do you support such URL's?

Thanks,
Roy.

Ok ... my bad for not checking first.

Yep ... it works.

http-get "https://thefinder.tax.ohio.gov/OHFinderService/OHFinderService.asmx" must-contain "The following"

Thanks (and keep up the good work),
Roy.

Hi Stu,

Thanks again.

One more question ... can I script ServiceMon to use HTTP POST / PUT / DELETE?
Should I use the .Net extension mechanism for that?

Thanks,
Roy.

Hi Roy,

The extension mechanism can certainly be used for implementing a specific command that uses a HTTP verb other than GET.

The difficulty in creating a generic mechanism for these other verbs is, unlike GET, they can have a body in addition to a URL, and this can often be quite large, so they don't lend themselves as well to a one line command.

If you find an elegant, generic solution to this problem, I'd really be interested in seeing what you come up with.

Good luck and all the best,
Stu
